After a devastating loss to the Rockets on Monday, the Spurs needed to revamp their game plan.  Head Coach, Gregg Popovich, came up with a brilliant idea.

“There is no doubt about it, our team is a little bit older than the rest of the league,” said Pop. “And what is the best exercise for older people, water aerobics”

34-year-old Point Guard, Tony Parker, also commented on their new exercise regimen.

“First, we get empty gallon jugs and go down to the YMCA, and do all sorts of calisthenics in the shallow end.  At first, I was a little hesitant, but now I enjoy an activity with other people my age.”

Manu Ginobili is no stranger to this type of training.  Per league sources, he’s been doing this for the past 15 years.  A true water aerobicizer.  But he has some qualms about the team activity.

“I used to come here alone, for training, but now it’s the whole team.  Leonard and Green keep splashing each other next to me, grow up! Also, Pop goes full “old-man” in the locker room.  At least throw a towel around your waist when you are shaving your beard. “

We could not stay around much longer, as the pungent smell of cough drops and musk filled the locker room.
